HELP IN SUFFERING

A work in progress that tells the story of an NGO called Help In Suffering an Animal rescue shelter based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
The film follows a rescue team for animals as they go around the city responding to calls about wounded, sick or nearly dead animals. They answer any and all calls which include a dying dog, four abandoned newborn puppies and even a wounded monkey.
The film also includes interviews with key staff members who describe the gritty details of the job and break their silence about the problems associated with animal rescue in a third world country like India, with minimal funding.
